The Festive Season truly is a special time at The Old Dog for all occasions from family catch ups, celebrating the kids returning from University or that School has wrapped up, an Office Party with a refreshing walk then lunch or just catching up with friends over a proper pint!  

​

Across our kitchen and bar teams we have curated the perfect balance of menus to allow you to come to The Old Dog to celebrate with us.  We will have our Festive Menu to Dine and our Relax menu with pub classics for the comfort factor you need.  On Boxing Day we will have a suitably relaxed Table Platter menu and across the Bar we have a fantastic line up of Festive Ales, Mulled Cider with Apple Brandy and our curated wine menu with our friends at Hattersley Wines in Bakewell.  See below our Menus.

To welcome in 2026 we will be hosting a New Year Quiz, 8:30pm start on 31st December, book your seats now.

As you would expect, this is a very popular busy time of year, we strongly advise early bookings for all table sizes.

​

We can cater for parties up to 36 in our Curved Bar area for the larger celebrations and regularly have parties between 12 - 20 booking to celebrate with us.  Fill in your details here for parties of over 8 people and we will be in touch to discuss.
