OUR FOOD IS LOCAL, FRESH & SEASONAL 

​​Through each season our fabulous team of chefs work with our local suppliers, farms and direct from the local shoots to create the freshest of menus each week as detailed below.  Central to our values at The Old Dog across our bar and kitchen is serving the best local produce supporting local businesses. ​

We are dog friendly at all times.  We serve Lunch 12 till 4pm Wednesday to Saturday, with Supper then served 5pm till 8pm.  On Sundays we serve Sunday Roast and our Garden menu is available for lighter bites, both menus are available in the Garden on a Sunday.

Join us for Festive Celebrations with family and friends in December to celebrate Christmas at The Old Dog.  Our Christmas Menu is now available below and we are taking bookings for all types of celebrations from the office lunch (optional stomp around Dovedale & Thorpe Cloud), celebrating the kids being back from University to a Lunch with friends.

Please use our Dining page to book a table inside or to enquire for event hire for large groups, we currently cater for up to 60 seated guests for private parties or larger events including our outside space.  Please note we do not book tables in the garden.
