2025 has brought us all weathers but we are ready with our suitably seasonal plates, the freshest local cask ales as we drive into Autumn, the fires are now on each day and the mulled cider & stouts are being served.

At The Old Dog, we offer local, unfussy quality food, drinks and service.  As an independent family business, we are proud of how our team work together to create a relaxing seasonal atmosphere when you visit us for all types of occasions.  From a relaxing drink with friends in front of our open fires to a special celebration or our popular Sunday Roast together as a family we've got you covered.​​​​  We are dog friendly at all times and weathers, there is no better sight than wet dogs drying out in front of our fires at this time of year.

We now have our accommodation at The Old Dog after recently renovating the flats above the pub.  The Loft is our 1 bedroom flat and The Apartment is our 2 bed flat ready for you to stay with us, please see our Rooms page for further details.
