If you use our groups and events enquiry form, email or call us, the details you provide are sent to the pub so the team can respond to your request. An enquiry does not create a confirmed reservation.

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, approximate group size and occasion. You can also provide a phone number, preferred date and time, and a short message. We use SendGrid to deliver the enquiry to our team’s email inbox. These details are used to handle your enquiry, not to subscribe you to marketing.

Talking to Barney

Barney is our AI visitor guide. The homepage help links do not use your microphone. If you choose “Talk to Barney” and allow microphone access, your voice is sent to OpenAI to provide spoken answers. We do not save audio recordings or conversation transcripts in this website. OpenAI processes voice data under its own privacy policy.

You can end the conversation at any time. Closing the help panel also ends the call and releases the microphone. Please do not share payment information or other sensitive personal details. Barney provides information and links; he cannot access ResDiary or Sykes, make or change bookings, or send messages to staff.
