THE OLD DOG BEER FESTIVAL

Get ready to raise a glass this summer, because from the 11th to the 14th of June 2026, we are proud to host The Old Dog Beer Festival. We’re transforming our beloved Thorpe pub into a true ale-lover's paradise, pouring a fantastic lineup of 30 local and guest cask ales.

We’ve partnered with some of the finest brewers in the Peak District and beyond—including Thornbridge Brewery, Tollgate Brewery, Whim Ales, Buxton Brewery, Anspach & Hobday and Aldwark Artisan Ales—with even more to be announced soon.

But it’s not just about the beer; we are throwing a proper summer weekender for the whole community. We'll have live music playing all weekend to set the vibe, alongside food options to keep you fuelled. The entire weekend is family-friendly, so whether you're a local resident, a walking group finishing up a hike, or just looking for a great day out with the kids (and the dogs, of course!), mark your calendars. Join us for what promises to be a brilliant few days.
